Cannot print in colour but have a new colour cartridge connected

Hi @Marionmay, Welcome to HP Support Community. 

 

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 
We understand that you are facing issue with color prints. Please follow these steps, 
1. Reset the printer
>Press the power button to turn off the printer. If the printer does not turn off, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

>Unplug the power cord from the power source.

>Wait 60 seconds.

>Connect the power cord directly to a wall outlet and to the printer.

>Turn on the printer to complete the reset.

 

2. Make sure the ink cartridges are inserted correctly
>Make sure the cartridges are inserted correctly, 
>Inspect the contacts for any protective tape that still might be on the nozzles.

Remove the protective tape from the contacts.
