Product: HP 2545 printer

I have a HP2545 all-in-one printer. The normal replacement cartridges are HP650 however I could not get them but HP recommend HP301 cartridges. Purchased and installed but the error message is "incompatible ink cartridge" is there something to do for it to recognize the cartridge?

Hi,

A Deskjet Ink Advantage printer doesn't use HP 301 cartridges, it uses the specific ink cartridges, as Deskjet Ink Advantage printers are only marketed in emerging markets:

HP 301 cartridges can work with an HP Deskjet 2540 printer, not with an HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 2540 printer, these are different products.

If I cannot use the 301 cartridges can some tell where I can source the 650s please?
