Ever since i bought This printer it’s been nothing but a headache. Contacted support previously and was sent a new black print head. Worked for about 5 times and now the error again. Tried all troubleshooting and will not go away. Now I’m out of warranty. All this started since day 1 so looks like I’m out a lot of money for something that never worked right. When i asked To just replace the entire printer all they would do is send a new print head. But being the new print head gives the same error, it must be a faulty printer. I have Videos and photos of the error and anytime i contact Someone i have To jump through hoops.
has anyone else had this issue and actually had it resolved. I need A working printer and I’m very irritated as you can see.

Hi @122Jenn, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Since you've already replaced the printhead and still encounter the same error, Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from power for 5 minutes.
- Remove all ink cartridges and the printhead.
- Plug the printer back in without the printhead and power it on.
- Wait for a missing printhead error, then reinstall the printhead and cartridges.
Check for Paper Debris or Ink Build-up
- Open the printhead area and inspect for any dust, ink smears, or debris.
- Clean the electrical contacts of the printhead gently using a lint-free cloth with distilled water.
Use a Different Power Outlet
- Ensure the printer is plugged directly into a wall socket (avoid extension cords).
Update Firmware via HP Smart App
- If your printer briefly connects, try checking for a firmware update via the HP Smart App on your iPhone.
Factory Reset (Last Resort)
- If nothing works, perform a factory reset:
- Press and hold Cancel + Back (↩) + Copy Color for 5+ seconds.
- The printer should restart and reset to factory settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
