Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printer cartridge error!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
- First, check cartridge compatibility. Ensure you're using a genuine HP 61 Black ink cartridge. If using a refilled or third-party cartridge, the printer might not recognize it properly.
- Next, remove and reinstall the cartridge. Turn off the printer and unplug it. Open the cartridge access door, remove the black ink cartridge, and inspect the chip and contacts for dirt or ink residue. Wipe the contacts gently with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water. Let it dry, reinsert the cartridge, and close the door. Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
