I have an Envy Inspire 7900 printer and some crossword puzzle grids print out in such a light pink, that you need a magnifier to see the numbers. Yet, the rest of the word clues are fine and so is my ink supply. What is happening?

First, let me thank you and say I am overwhelmed by your comprehensive and detailed response. I wasn't even really expecting one and your surely educated me. I haven't had time to take up all your suggestions but I did switch the printer from color to black and white for now, and it seems to work. I'll check the color cartridges soon. Again, your prompt assistance is stellar and much appreciated! 🙏
