Free replacements for defective cyan and yellow, except my warranty expired before finding out....

Very frustrated with HP as they are now compensating for faulty ink cartridges, but I am not eligible due to exp. warranty. I am experiencing the same issue and I could not have predicted it, so i feel i should be entitled to the same compensation. I'm sure others will have this issue as well. Ink is very expensive, and it is now being wasted.

What is the error you get?

 

HP Officejet 8710 does not fall under this category. You may refer to this document for more details.

 

Also, kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document -  HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge

 

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
