HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One

My Cyan color stopped printing.  I have installed two new HP Cartridge but still have the issue. In the clean print head process shows no Cyan color being printed. 

I have:

  • Made no changes to the printer before the issue started
  • I have cleaned the ink cartridge contacts as well as the print head
  • I am able to make a copy from the printer with the same result – no Blue
  • I have, with the printer turned on, disconnected the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplugged the power cord from the wall outlet
  • I am not using a USB cable
  • I waited 5 minutes, and pressed and held the power button 30 seconds to remove any additional charge
  • I then plugged back the without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plugged back the power cord to the printer
  • I turned on the printer and waited until the warm period finished and the printer was idle
  • I then inserted ink cartridges and printed a test page – NO BLUE
  • White line through YELLOW color
  • White gaps where the arrows were pointing
  • I then tried to photo copy a word document in blue – NO BLUE on the printout
  • I did the 3 step print head clean again and aligned print head again
  • STILL NO BLUE

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

 

There is an issue with the new lot of HP 935 Cyan and Yellow ink cartridges and they were recalled. If the Cartridge was manufactured in Malaysia and the Warranty End Date is between April 1st, 2022 and September 18th, 2022, please do not use this ink cartridge.

 

Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the replacement options for the ink cartridge or to check its availability. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

 

Also, check if the printer/ink cartridges are eligible for a replacement. Refer to -  'Incompatible' or 'Defective Cartridge' message
