Hi @Bluetarp,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

If your printer is having trouble printing in cyan, there could be several possible causes. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve the issue:

Check Ink Levels:

  •  Ensure that the cyan ink cartridge is not empty or low on ink. Replace it if necessary.

Clean Printheads:

  • Sometimes print quality issues are caused by clogged printheads. Use your printer’s maintenance menu to clean the printheads.

Align the Printheads:

  • Misalignment of printheads can cause colors to print incorrectly. Use the printer's software to align the printheads.

Use Correct Media Type:

  •  Ensure that the media type selected matches the loaded paper to ensure correct color printing.

Update Printer Driver:

  • Make sure that you have the latest driver for your printer model installed on your computer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website.

Print a Test Page:

  • Print a print quality diagnostics page to check if other colors are printing properly and to confirm the cyan issue.

Perform a Printer Reset:

  • Sometimes, resetting the printer can resolve temporary printing issues. Turn off your printer, unplug it, wait a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Take care and have an amazing day!
