I installed a new set of 902 ink cartridges in color. Cyan has an error message that it's defective. I've done the automated thing for reporting an issue twice. Each time it tells me I'm eligible to receive a replacement cartridge and that my shipping info will be collected on the next screen.... then it drops me back at the beginning. Is there a direct email or phone number I can contact to actually get this replaced?

Got that as well. Nothing on this web site is actually helpful. Either dead end links, endless loops, or vague responses from supposed HP employees. The exact duplicity and absolutely ZERO response to follow-up questions makes me believe that those are bots as well that search for keywords in the forums and post a canned response. (I HATE canned responses. If you don't know what you are talking about, then just keep your pie hole shut!)
Nowhere on these board have I seen any specifics about when ink will be available. I don't think that they plan to provide any new ink for this printer line. That is the only way that I can explain why there has been a shortage of ink for 6 months (my first encounter with difficulty getting ink was July) and that absolutely NONE of the posts or PMs to inquiries give any specifics.

@leadtheway, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand you are looking for a replacement ink cartridge. Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - 'Incompatible' or 'Defective Cartridge' message.
If you are still not able to get to the shipping info page, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region.
You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
Keep me posted for any other assistance.

Thanks for your reply.
After further research I agree with your theory that no ink replacements are on the way. I think they planned a shortage so people would be forced to buy their newer HP Envy printers and they'd make more money.
That's fine, I went out and bought a Canon printer today.
