Cyan is not printing even after changing the cartridge numerous times. There is no blue showing u up on any of the diagnostics pages, nor is it showing up on the clean printed reports or print quality reports

Hi @RobW59,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer's Cyan color is not printing, there are several possible causes and solutions to try.

  • Check the ink levels: Make sure that the Cyan ink cartridge has enough ink left. If the cartridge is low or empty, replace it with a new one.
  • Clean the printhead: The printhead may be clogged with dried ink, preventing Cyan from flowing through. Most HP printers have a built-in printhead cleaning tool that you can use to clean the printhead. Consult your printer manual for instructions on how to do this.
  • Check the printer settings: Make sure that the printer settings are set to print in color and that the Cyan color is not set to "off" or "grayscale."
  • Check the printer driver: The printer driver may be outdated or corrupted, causing the Cyan color not to print. Try updating the printer driver or reinstalling the printer software.
  • Try a different Cyan cartridge: If none of the above solutions work, try using a different Cyan ink cartridge. The cartridge may be defective or incompatible with your printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

I had already tried all of your suggestions with the exception of making sure the cyan color was not turned off. I don't know of any way to turn off individual colors.

I am thinking of getting another new printer but this time it won't be an HP. I have had problems with every hp printer I have owned(4 of them). I am done with HP products.
