HP Officejet Pro 6960
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi,

 1. I am using a HP Officejet Pro 6960
2. Operating System  Windows 10 64-bit
3. No Error message but Cyan does not print and is streaky in some places.
4. I had low ink levels and colours were not printing properly so I ordered more (Instant Ink) ink and installed the catridges.

No amount of print head cleaning helps.

I've used the HP Print and Scan Doctor which suggested that I download and install the latest firmware which I did but it said that the firmware was in fact up to date.

Since I have spent all day on this and have printed many pages trying to get the Cyan cartridge to print properly, I thought it best to reach out here and ask for assistance.

PS. HP do not make it easy to call in for support, which is what I'd prefer!

@robinc247, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand the printer is not printing in Cyan. I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues

If the issue persists, as you have already replaced the ink cartridge, I'm afraid the printhead has gone bad. Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
