Officejet 3830
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Just unwrapped and installed brand new printer cartridges, and the cyan is not printing. Have done 2 clean cycles. Am an art student and need it to work

 

It's a 3831,not a 3830 😁

@gothfrog, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Check the ink levels and make sure both the ink cartridges have full ink as they are new.

 

If the ink cartridge nozzles are badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes before you perform both levels of cleaning again.

Print a print quality report to check the result.

  1. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup.

  2. Touch Tools, and then touch Print Quality Report.

Try making a standalone copy in color and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

P.s: Officejet 3831 belongs to 3830 printer series.
