Hi @CNB1T5N30L,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
When your HP printer prints double-sided pages in opposite directions, it’s usually a duplex setting issue. The printer is flipping the second page incorrectly, which makes the back side upside down compared to the front.
Steps to Fix:
On Windows
- Open Print Settings in the app you’re printing from.
- Click Printer Properties or Preferences.
- Under Print on Both Sides (or Duplex):
- Choose Flip on Long Edge for book-style (same orientation).
- Choose Flip on Short Edge for tablet-style (opposite orientation).
- Apply and print again.
On macOS
- In the print dialog, click Layout.
- Under Two-Sided, select:
- Long-edge binding for the same direction.
- Short-edge binding for the opposite direction.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
