Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

How do I get a refund for a defective ink cartridge 64 black that was purchased at a major retailer who will not exchange an opened defective cartridge. The cartridge is new and it is printing blank paper.

Just curious: what 'major retailor' is unwilling to replace a defective product they sold?

Purchased from Amazon. The core of the problem is the pages are printing blank. I replaced the cartridge with an alternate cartridge and the printer is working fine.

@Lister3,

 

My experience with Amazon is that they are one of the least annoying companies to work with consumer-wise to get your money back.

 

And certainly when you point out to them that a printer cartridge doesn't work, few questions are asked, generally speaking.

I purchased a few cartridges a few months ago so the return window has passed. Again, I would just like to know the claim process on HP. An alternate cartridge I opened works just fine.
