Hi @LoreLi1,
Thank you for your response,
If your HP DeskJet Plus Ink Advantage 6075 printer is asking for a "Setup cartridge," it means that the printer is expecting a cartridge that has never been used before or has been specifically designed for setup purposes.
To resolve this issue, you can try the following steps.
- Make sure that you have installed the cartridges correctly. Open the cartridge access door and check if the cartridges are installed in the correct slots and are securely seated in place.
- Check if the cartridges are genuine HP cartridges. If you are using non-HP cartridges, they may not be compatible with your printer, causing it to request a setup cartridge.
- If you have installed genuine HP cartridges and the issue persists, try resetting the printer. You can do this by turning off the printer and unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes, then plugging it back in and turning it on again.
It's important to note that the "Setup cartridge" message may appear during the initial setup of the printer, and you will need to follow the instructions provided in the setup guide to complete the installation process.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

An issue is that I am no longer in possession of SETUP cartridge. There is no big warning please do not to throw SETUP cartridge as you might need it eventually.
I have a brand new genuine HP cartridge which are not accepted by printer. What can I do?
