Deskjet 2652
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I have been using my Deskjet 2652 printer for over a year now, I am enrolled on the instant ink program and have replaced the ink before with no problems.

but as of today I got this icon on my printer (envelope with ink droplet) that wont go away

and all I sudden my printer is detecting offline on my PC (HP smart says I'm offline)

I have un-installed and re-installed all the drivers and nothing seems to work,

I replaced the ink with the new cartridge sent to me (since I didn't print much I kept the new ones till today) and nothing,

I even used other devices such as a laptop and phone and none of them detect the printer.

I checked, installed all windows 11 updates and rebooted my machine several times ..nothing...

I cleared the connection (wi-fi) on the printer, ran easy setup, re-entered everything, redid all the steps mentioned above still nothing

This all began with the icon mentioned above, how do I clear it and regain access to my printer

Good day

ok i did the whole router pow cycle, printer power cycle, reset the connection  on the printer (solid blue wi-fi) light, made sure it connected, printed the wireless page, says it is good, has an ip, connection status says good etc

i learned the new icon just signifies i am connected to instant ink, so not the cause, I also did some research and realized i was missing some drivers, i installed them,

Now i can use the printer but from a native deskjet 2600 app not hp smart (which is my preference) and that one is still reading offline

Hi,

Please perform a  full power cycle by restarting your router and any other access point as repeaters or extenders and allow the internet connection to return, then restart the printer too and check for any difference.

If the same persists, can you see the wireless light near the wireless button blinking, off or solid?

Print and evaluate a Wireless Network Test page for your printer (the latest printed report), does it indicate any error or attention on its header?

Actually my last thing worked, instlliong the missing driver and rebooting  (forgot to reboot) fixed the issue

Thank you for your help, hope this helps someone else
