Hi @MQBS,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP DeskJet 3630 All-in-One Printer isn't printing after a cartridge change, try the following troubleshooting steps:
May I know:
1. have you observed any light blinking on the display and error code
2. May I know the operating system windows or Mac OS?
3. Could you please elaborate on the issue?
1. Check the Cartridges:
- Ensure the new cartridges are properly installed.
- Double-check that the protective tape has been removed from the cartridges.
- Make sure the cartridges are genuine HP cartridges and compatible with your printer model.
2. Perform a Printhead Alignment:
- Sometimes after a cartridge change, the printhead needs to be aligned for optimal performance.
- Go to the printer's control panel, find the Tools or Settings menu, and select Align Printhead.
3. Run Printer Troubleshooter (Windows):
- On your computer, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
- Select your printer, then choose Manage > Run the troubleshooter.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to diagnose and resolve any issues.
4. Check Ink Levels:
- Even after changing cartridges, verify the ink levels. If they show empty or very low, try reinstalling the cartridges or use the printer's software to check the ink levels.
5. Check for Paper Jams:
- Inspect the printer for any paper jams, as this can sometimes prevent printing from starting.
6. Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in, turn it on, and check if the printer starts printing.
7. Update Printer Drivers:
- Ensure your printer drivers are up to date by visiting the HP support website and downloading the latest drivers for your printer model.
8. Perform a Hard Reset:
- If the issue persists, perform a hard reset by turning off the printer, disconnecting the power cord, and holding the power button for 10 seconds. Then, reconnect the power cord and try printing again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
