Hi,
I own a Deskjet D1660 that uses HP60 cartridges. I just moved to Europe and bought a brand new authentic pair of HP300.cartridges. I saw in the previous posts that it's necessary to update the printer software in order to use the HP300. I wasn't able to reach HP to solve this and now I have a pair of new cartridges with no use.
How to proceed, is it possible to make it yourself?
Thanks

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand you moved, and the printer is not is accepting the new region cartridges. We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue. The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
