My Deskjet F4400 inkjet printer (Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit) stopped printing RED.
I followed the steps in the older forum posts.
Combined color ink levels are at 3 of 4 bars.
Grayscale is turned off.
I cleaned the color cartridge through the prime level plus two more first levels.
**The test page of pears printed in full color perfectly.**
I manually cleaned around the ink plate on both color and black cartridges.
The extended self-test report printed in streaked blue and streaked yellow and black.
The alignment test page printed in only blue and black, then only black after numerous test pages of pears.
**The test page of pears continue to print in full color perfectly, so why aren't red and yellow printing?* *
Help please, thanks!

I installed the printer on my Windows 10 laptop using Windows Add a Printer. It is printing full color.
Unfortunately this means the HP software on my Windows 8.1 desktop computer is corrupted and not fixable. I uninstalled and attempted to reinstall using the CD, but Exit was the only option.
