Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Deskjet Plus 4155.  Asking for setup ink cartridges, but ive owned it for a couple years now so obviously they are long gone.  Genuine HP ink cartridges in the printer now, not new but not old.  I tried resetting the printer & cleaning the contacts but it continues to ask for setup ink cartridges and wont print anything.  Not sure if firmware is up to date, but it wont update firmware anyway, says the printer is busy.  Printer is hardwired to PC (not using wifi).  Any ideas how to get this thing to stop asking for setup ink cartridges and start printing again?
