I bought a set of new black and color cartridges in June 2022. Used them in July and they worked really well. I might have printed some 10 documents. When i tried them again in December they won't work correctly. The blacks are all faded and almost invisible. Colors are washed out. I removed them and kept them near a warm source but that didn't help. What's happening with these? and this is a very frequent problem

Hi @AppServer,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP Deskjet printer is not printing correctly, there are several things you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
- Check ink levels: Make sure that the ink cartridges are not empty or low on ink. Replace any cartridges that are running low.
- Check for paper jams: Look inside the printer for any paper jams or debris that may be blocking the print heads or paper path.
- Clean the print heads: Use the printer's cleaning function to clean the print heads. This can be done through the printer's software or via the control panel.
- Check the print settings: Make sure that the correct printer is selected and that the print settings are correct. If necessary, adjust the settings to ensure that the printer is set up properly.
- Restart the printer: Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes. Then plug it back in and turn it on again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
