set up my brand new hp colour laserjet pro 3302 yesterday and tired to print two images on vinyl sticker paper for laser printers however the colour isn’t coming out right! I set the paper type to glossy and the ink levels are full. Test paper came out clear on the vinyl paper so I’m really unsure! Any help would be great as it’s driving me mental! I’ve provided two images showing what the colour should look like and what it came printed out like!  Thank you!  (I use the newest version of windows too)

@jackwelton1997, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like there may be an issue with the color profile, toner adhesion, or the printer's handling of the vinyl sticker paper. Since your test page printed fine, but images aren't coming out right, let's troubleshoot:

Steps to Fix:

Check Paper Compatibility:

  • Not all vinyl sticker papers are optimized for laser printers. Make sure yours is specifically designed for laser printing (some vinyl sticker papers are meant for inkjet only).
  • Try a different brand of laser-compatible vinyl paper to see if the issue persists.

Adjust Print Settings:

  • In Printer Preferences, go to Paper Type and select Labels or Transparency, rather than Glossy. Some vinyl sheets have coatings that work better with these settings.
  • Change the print quality to the highest setting (Best or High Resolution).
  • If your printer has a Color Calibration or Toner Density setting, try adjusting it.

Use a Different Color Profile:

  • Try printing from different software (e.g., Photoshop, Acrobat, or another image viewer).
  • Check the color correction settings in the print menu—if set to "Auto," try "Manual" or "None."

Run Printer Calibration & Cleaning:

  • Your printer may need a color calibration to align the toner. Run this from the printer's settings.
  • Try a toner density adjustment to enhance color vibrancy.
  • Print a full-color test page on regular paper to compare results.

Check Heat & Fuser Settings:

  • Some vinyl sticker papers need higher/lower fuser temperatures.
  • If your printer allows it, adjust the fuser temperature in settings. Too much heat can cause toner to melt unevenly; too little heat can prevent proper adhesion.

Try a Different File Format:

  • Print the image as PDF instead of JPG/PNG (some drivers process colors differently for image formats).
  • Convert the file to CMYK format in an image editor and try printing again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
