Hi @SteveL15

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

No worries! Changing the ink cartridge on an HP DeskJet 3755 is pretty simple once you know the steps. Here's a clear, step-by-step guide:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Turn on the Printer

Make sure the printer is powered on.

If it's off, press the Power button.

2. Open the Ink Cartridge Access Area

Lift the scanner lid (the whole top section).

The ink cartridge carriage will move to the center automatically.

Wait until the carriage is idle and silent before proceeding.

3. Remove the Old Cartridge

Gently press down on the cartridge you want to replace (black on the right, color on the left).

It will pop loose — pull it out carefully.

4. Unpack the New Cartridge

Take the new cartridge out of its packaging.

Remove the plastic tape by pulling the orange tab. ⚠️ Do not touch the copper-colored contacts or ink nozzles.

5. Install the New Cartridge

Hold the cartridge with the nozzles facing down and the contacts facing the printer.

Slide it into the correct slot (black on right, color on left).

Push gently until it clicks into place.

6. Close the Scanner Lid

Lower the scanner lid back down.

7. Align the Cartridges (Optional but Recommended)

The printer may print an alignment page automatically.

Follow any on-screen prompts (or use the HP Smart app) to complete alignment.
