HP OfficeJet 8022 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

When I first purchased my HP OfficeJet 8022, I was able to use ink cartridges with Non-HP CHips. However, 2 days ago, I went to replace my black ink cartridge and it gave me an error. It gave me a "Non-HP Chip Detected". I have researched online and some people say to reset my printer to the Manufactures Setting, which I did numerous times without any change. Some people say that I need to downgrade the printers firmware. I have not yet done this because I don't know how. I have tried researching the internet and youtube but I have not yet found anyone that shows how to downgrade the firmware on my specific printer. If anyone knows how to do this downgrade for a HP OfficeJet 8022, I would really appreciate any help.

Thank you all for your time and understanding. I really hope that someone out there has a solution for my printer error. I would very much appreciate any help. Thank you all again.

Respectfully

MH

There is no option to downgrade the printer firmware.

I hope that helps.
