All of sudden, my ENVY6065e printed blank pages.
So I've tried cleaning the printer head several times and it started printing color, but it won't print in black.
If I try to use color cartridge to print black, then it prints out in blue.
Please help.

Hi @RDWY,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're having some trouble with your ENVY 6065e printer not printing black properly. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
Check Ink Levels:
Make sure your black ink cartridge has enough ink. You can usually check this through the printer software on your computer or directly on the printer's display panel.
Clean the Print Head:
Since you've already tried cleaning the print head, you might want to try this again, focusing specifically on the black ink. Here's how:
- Load a few sheets of plain paper into the input tray.
- On the printer control panel, go to Setup > Tools > Clean Printhead.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the cleaning process.
Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Report:
This report can give you more information about what might be going wrong. Here's how to print it:
- Load plain white paper in the input tray.
- On the printer control panel, go to Setup > Tools > Print Quality Report or Print Report > Print Quality Diagnostic Page.
- Examine the report for any issues with the black ink, such as streaks or missing segments.
Check Print Settings:
Sometimes print settings can affect how colors are printed. Make sure your print settings are correct:
- When printing, choose "Black and White" or "Grayscale" mode to ensure it uses the black ink cartridge.
- Check other settings like paper type and quality to ensure they are appropriate for your document.
Reset the Printer:
Sometimes a reset can help clear up issues:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait a couple of minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Try printing a test page to see if the issue is resolved.
Replace the Black Ink Cartridge:
If none of the above steps work, the black ink cartridge may be faulty or empty. Consider replacing it with a new one, especially if it's been in use for a while.
Hopefully, one of these steps resolves the issue and gets your ENVY 6065e printing black properly again!
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
