 i would like to know if those ink refill bottles on Amazon will be compatible with my Smart-Tank 580..it said it's compatible but never hurts to ask for a second opinion

It's not recommended to use non genuine ink. The difference in price form original is 20$, it's not worth risking printhead failure.
