Hi @Ashley824,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand that your HP Envy 5012 is printing blank pages despite having ink, which can be quite frustrating. Don't worry, there are several things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check Ink Levels: Even though you mentioned that your printer has ink, it's worth double-checking the ink levels to ensure they are sufficient for printing. You can usually check ink levels through the printer's control panel or the accompanying software on your computer.
- Print Head Alignment: Sometimes, misaligned print heads can cause blank pages to come out. Your printer should have a utility or option to align the print heads. Refer to your printer's user manual or settings menu to find and run this alignment utility.
- Clean Print Heads: Inkjet printers like the Envy 5012 can develop clogged print heads over time, especially if they haven't been used for a while. Many printers have a maintenance or cleaning function that you can access through the printer's settings menu. Running a print head cleaning cycle might help resolve the issue.
- Check Paper and Settings: Ensure that you're using the correct type and size of paper for your print job. Also, verify that the print settings on your computer match the paper size and type you're using.
- Update Printer Drivers: Outdated printer drivers can sometimes cause printing issues. Check if there are any updates available for your printer's drivers and install them if necessary. You can usually find driver updates on the HP website Software and Drivers for HP ENVY 5012 All-in-One Printer.
- Restart Printer and Computer: Sometimes, a simple restart of both the printer and your computer can resolve temporary glitches or communication errors between the devices.
- Try Printing from Another Device: If possible, try printing from a different device to see if the issue is specific to your computer or the printer itself.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
