I have an Envy 5030 Printer that I can’t set up as says to use Startup ink. But it never came with a them and is out of warranty to return.

It looks like your HP Envy 5030 is requiring setup ink cartridges, which are typically needed for the printer’s first-time initialization. Since your printer didn’t come with them and is out of warranty, 

 

Let me share the steps to by pass the setup ink requirement in a private message, as these steps can brick if tried on a different printer model.

 

To access it, click the private message icon in the upper-right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your name.
