Hmmm.
When / IF available on the printer model:
Copy set to black/white (no color) and set to as light as you can stand it.
You would not like the results - but doing this way would likely use less ink.
Example - Embedded Web Server (EWS) - Copy Default settings
Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Copy > Settings > Default Settings / Copy Defaults (wording can vary)

That said...
On the other hand, you could probably get about the same result printing in Draft, using Black/white (or gray).
The amount of ink used is most directly related to content - that is, what you are printing / copying (colors / density).
