My brand new HP Envy Inspire 7900e printer prints blue as pink. Blue (Cyan) does not show up in diagnostic printout or test print.  Using a mac.  Diagnostic shows original factory ink cartridges nearly full, including Cyan.  I've cleaned the the cartridges three times and still nothing. It's as if the color cartridge only has red ink.

If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, this could be a faulty cartridge.

 

Have you updated the firmware? If not select your current os and see if there is any update. Click here
