Why is Epson Premium Presentation Paper Matte Double-sided dangerous/destroy a HP Laser Jet printer? Epson has this message as a caution to not use in a Laser printer.

Can you confirm this?

What is in this paper/cardstock that makes it harmful to laser printers?

Welcome to the HP English Community --

True --

If the paper is designated (made for) an InkJet printer, the paper should not be used in a Laser Printer.

As to the scary message, you should ask Epson -- they know more about their paper than would any of us.

If the message is not from Epson and is instead from a website, blog, or social media site, then (you must) decide whether the source deserves your trust in the matter.

The safest avenue is to avoid using paper that comes with messages that it will destroy your printer.

The whole thing seems a bit odd but I live in a different world, I guess.
