Hi @Ibrahimscorp,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're receiving the error message "Do Not Use Setup Cartridges" on your HP Deskjet 2710 printer, it means that the printer is detecting that you are using the initial setup cartridges that come with the printer. These cartridges are meant for the initial setup process and have limited ink capacity.
To resolve this issue, you will need to replace the setup cartridges with regular ink cartridges. Here's what you can do.
- Open the printer cover: Lift the cover of your HP Deskjet 2710 printer to access the ink cartridge area.
- Remove the setup cartridges: Gently push down on the setup cartridge that you want to replace and then pull it out of its slot. Repeat this process for any other setup cartridges present.
- Install regular ink cartridges: Take the new ink cartridges out of their packaging and remove any protective tape or covers. Insert the cartridges into the appropriate slots, making sure they are securely seated.
- Close the printer cover: Once you have installed the regular ink cartridges, close the printer cover.
- Clear the error message: After closing the printer cover, the error message should clear automatically. If it doesn't, try restarting the printer and check if the error persists.
If the error message continues to appear even after replacing the setup cartridges with regular ink cartridges,
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi, thanks for your help,
the error message continues to appear even after replacing the setup cartridges with regular ink cartridges is there anyway to bypass it I saw some articles about resetting the printer for the same problem I am experiencing but the employees contacted the users privately because the reset process is unique to their machines and couldn’t be published in public.
