Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP 8720 that has been working fine for years.  I went out of town for a couple months, so unplugged the printer.  Upon my return, and "reboot" of the printer, I received the "new and unused print cartridges must be used for startup."  Technically, this is not a startup, but ok.  I removed the cartridges, replaced them, powered off (cord disconnect) and then back on.  Same message.  Desperately needed the printer, so went out and bought a set of NEW cartridges at Office Depot.  Made no difference, same error message.  Posted to this list and "Aiden" or "Alden" was kind enough to answer.  I had already done most of what he suggested, but did it all again.  Even did a factory reset.  Repeated this a couple of times and voila, it now recognizes TWO of the cartridges as new (magenta and black) but still says the yellow and cyan are not acceptable.  I then reinstalled the software, hoping that might help.  Nothing.  I have spent 30+ hours on this and still no resolution.  I even called HP Smart Friends, but couldn't get an answer.  HELP!!
