Totally agree with what you've written here and I can't get any response from HP. I will never buy another HP printer. This whole ink restriction is maddening and they have been sued for it, and LOST! Really bad customer service for people who have been loyal and bought HP ink at twice the price of alternatives

HP Recommended

I'm experiencing the same issue with an 'older generation cartridge', though it's considerably newer than the one it replaced. It's **bleep** that you offer and encourage users to buy in bulk through Club and Office Supply stores and then make the cartridges obsolete before they can be used. I need a solution to make my current cartridge work or need a replacement one sent to me.
