Hi @Sam19421,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding error you're getting on the printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Here are some troubleshooting steps to help resolve the Error Code 71.02.4A on your HP Office Pro 8025:

1. Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Leave it unplugged for 5-10 minutes to allow any residual power to dissipate.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

2. Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the ink cartridge access door and check if any cartridges are misaligned, jammed, or stuck.
  • Remove and reinsert the cartridges to ensure they are properly seated.

3. Clear Paper Jams:

  • Even though it’s an ink cartridge issue, make sure there are no paper jams inside the printer.
  • Check both the paper tray and the output area for any stuck paper.

4. Clean the Cartridge Area:

  • Gently clean the printhead and the contacts inside the printer with a lint-free cloth.
  • Be careful not to touch the printhead or ink nozzles.

5. Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a hard reset by holding down the power button for 15-20 seconds while the printer is on, then release and try powering on again.

6. Update Printer Firmware:

  • If possible, check for a firmware update for the printer through the HP Smart app or HP Support website.

7. Check for Obstructions:

  • Inspect the area around the ink cartridges and the printhead for any debris or foreign objects that might be blocking the movement.

Let me know how it goes or if you need additional assistance!
