@Raruma13, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Here's a step-by-step guide to help resolve the "Supply System Problem" with the yellow ink cartridge on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e printer:
Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer using the power button.
- Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (avoid power strips).
- Turn the printer back on.
Check the Yellow Cartridge
- Open the ink cartridge access door.
- Remove the yellow cartridge.
- Inspect the vent area on top of the cartridge. If there's any orange pull-tab, remove it.
- Use a paperclip or pin to gently clear any adhesive or debris from the vent.
Reinstall the Cartridge
- Reinsert the yellow cartridge into its color-coded slot.
- Press down until it clicks into place.
- Repeat for other cartridges if needed.
Use Genuine HP Cartridges
- Ensure you're using genuine HP ink cartridges. Non-HP or refilled cartridges can trigger errors.
- You can verify cartridge authenticity here: HP anti-counterfeit | HP® Official Site
Update Printer Firmware
- Go to your printer’s control panel or HP Smart app. HP Smart
- Check for firmware updates and install if available. Official HP® Support
Replace the Cartridge (if needed)
- If the issue persists, try replacing the yellow cartridge with a new genuine HP one.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
