I replaced the ink cartridges with official ones, and the printer tells me there's a problem with one of them (the yellow one). Supply system problem AND HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e printer

@Raruma13, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Here's a step-by-step guide to help resolve the "Supply System Problem" with the yellow ink cartridge on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9010e printer:

Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer using the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet (avoid power strips).
  • Turn the printer back on.

Check the Yellow Cartridge

  • Open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Remove the yellow cartridge.
  • Inspect the vent area on top of the cartridge. If there's any orange pull-tab, remove it.
  • Use a paperclip or pin to gently clear any adhesive or debris from the vent.

Reinstall the Cartridge

  • Reinsert the yellow cartridge into its color-coded slot.
  • Press down until it clicks into place.
  • Repeat for other cartridges if needed.

Use Genuine HP Cartridges

Update Printer Firmware

Replace the Cartridge (if needed)

  • If the issue persists, try replacing the yellow cartridge with a new genuine HP one.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
