Product: HP ENVY Photo 6255 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

After installing the replacement ink cartridge and printing several pages the printer now says that the cartridge is not communication correctly with the printer. I've cleaned the contacts as per instructions but still have this error message. I am using hp instant ink and cannot just go to the store and buy another cartridge.

coincidentally, on the 30th March, I get the same problem. Cleaning contacts does not help.

 

Had changed the colour cartridge on the HP Envy6200 a week back, now it won't communicate with the printer, which is 1 year old and requires more attention than a 1 year old baby

 

I think it is a printer firmware issue.
