I now get an error message that my ink cartridge K is a continuous supply version but not compatible, The ink cartridge was not changed and has been working fine since its installation months ago., until now. Error cannot be cleared, reinstalled cartridge several time. Turn printer off several times. Nothing works. Printer has been turn off since last use, so no power issues could be the cause.

Hi @Ramondo67,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

  • The printer does not print and displays the following error message on the printer control panel:
  • Incompatible Cartridges. This Printer is Not Designed to Use Continuous Ink Systems.
  • To resume printing, remove the continuous ink system, and then install genuine HP (or compatible) ink cartridges.
  • Ink cartridges require periodic servicing by printer hardware to maintain good print quality and avoid damage to the printer. Attaching an aftermarket product to the printer’s ink delivery system, such as a continuous ink system, affects ink cartridge servicing and other printer functions and voids the HP limited warranty.

Keep me posted for further assistance
