I purchase an extended warranty a couple days ago. Even though my laser printer is out of warranty. Am I to understand this warranty correctly? That, I have to wait 30 days to have my printer serviced?  And at that time what happens do I have to pay for shipping to have it serviced or will they replace my laser printer? If it's having an issue, I understand my laser printer is no longer available.

You purchased an extended warranty from whom?

What printer model are you referring?

Is your printer in working condition or defective?

I checked the warranty status on HP's site and it said it expired in Feb. 2025.  I am referring to my M255dw color laser printer.  So when I check the status of the warranty it gave me an option to buy an extended warranty for the next two years and get a free ink cart.  I called to see if I could get a replacement printer and they told me that I have to wait 30 days before I would qualify for a replacement printer.  They also offered me a printer for $6.00 a month but from what I read online this may have been an inkjet printer.
