I am having trouble printing with black ink although colours are ok. This was after not using the printer for a few weeks. At first there was nothing but after doing a few first and second level head cleans, it is better but still faded. This is worse at the start of some lines. 
I have also taken out the cartridge and cleaned the ‘pad’.

Dried ink because the printer was unused for a longer period. You can try to soak the bottom part of ink cartridge in hot water that might dissolve dried ink, if that isn't helpful a new ink cartridge is needed.

Thanks. How long do I soak it for and how do I get a new cartridge if I’m on the Instant Ink service.
