HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw

Hi all,

I have the hp MFP M281fdw, and without reason it starts printing faded. The toners are obviusly original and when i print the report from material, i see magenta and yellow half faded half missing/blank.

what can i do ?

toners are in used for a lot of pages, it is almost impossible is a toner problem.

thanks

Hello @lorenzoporta,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Also print the diagnostic page.

Upload both printouts here, click on the icon "Insert photos", "Set format = Large", original size at least 200 KB.

Kind Regards

Hi @lorenzoporta,

last date of use: 2003

first install date: non disp.

Since this is ReFill toner, the only option left for them now is as follows.

1. switch off printer
2. take out all toner cartridges
3. each individual toner cartridge shake vigorously, so that the toner is loosened again!
4. reinsert the toner cartridges
5. turn on the printer, wait until the printer is fully powered up
6. Start a cleaning page
7. start a calibration
8. print the supplies status, and

Upload here, click on the icon "Insert photos", "Set format = Large", original size at least 200 KB.

1 step: they call me back and they said me that there is no solution, cause probably is an electronic component.

On monday they will call me back again to let me know if there is a possibility to solve the issue with preventive not expensive.

Anyway I will update you with the details of the report

They said me also they tried to change the toners ...but nothing changed

HP Recommended

strange reply, they said me could be one of these 3 board ( the machine has 3 boards no more )

1. alta tensione
2. four master
3. gruppo laser

(italian language)

and they are not doing a preventive cause it will be too expensive.

what i don't understand is that they don't know which is the problem, they only suppose it is one of these 3 electronic card

I Brought the printer to another hp center.

we will see  . . .
