HP Recommended

I purchased an HP ink combo pack #61  from Walmart.  Black one installed ok but the color one will not.  Error:  The following ink cartridge(s) must be replaced.  I've tried all the suggested remedies.   How can I get HP to replace this faulty cartridge?  They are too expensive to just go buy another.
