Installed brand new ink cartridges, and receiving error that the car cartridges are damaged. Would like to file a warranty claim

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

 

Try these steps:

Turn the Printer Off and On

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Wait a few moments and turn the printer back on.

Install the Ink Cartridges Correctly

  1. Gently open the ink cartridge access door.
  2. Remove the ink cartridge by grasping it and pulling it firmly towards you.
  3. Reinsert the cartridge into the correct slot. Press firmly on the cartridge to ensure proper contact.
  4. Close the ink cartridge cover and check if the error message has gone away.

Clean the Electrical Contacts

  1. Lightly dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with bottled or distilled water.
  2. Clean the electrical contacts on the cartridge by wiping with the cloth from top to bottom.
  3. Clean the electrical contacts inside the printer in the same manner.
  4. Wipe the area dry with a dry lint-free cloth before re-installing the cartridge.

Replace the Ink Cartridge

If reinstalling and cleaning the contacts does not work, the cartridge may indeed be damaged. Replace the indicated ink cartridge with a new one.
