Does anyone know of a source for cheaper replacement cartridges for the HP printers? I don't have $1000 to buy yet another set of toner.....my old printer went, and I had unused cartridges, but HP does not even a rebate or buy-back program.

There are plenty of 3rd party companies, just make sure they stand behind their product and will clean your printer at no charge if the cartridges leak or if the printer will not recognize the cartridges. Turn off firmware updates if you do go to 3rd party as an update may stop previously working cartridges from working.
