HP has been sued  and lost in the past for blocking the use of non-HP cartridges in their inkjet printers. You are now trying to do it again, presumably thinking that enough time has passed. Either clear up this practice and provide a firmware update that resolves the issue, allowing non-HP cartridge use or you have permanently lost this HP customer.
