HP Recommended

My first time getting the ink for this printer. When I bought the cartridge from Target and inserted it, the printer stopped working. It turns out the 65 cartridge can't be used to replace the 67 (I didn't know this). Now I’ve learned that different printers require different types of cartridges, but Target refused to refund me because the package was opened.

Is there anything I can do to return it?
