I have just been informed by Tech. Support that my problem (no ink level indication) was due to the use of not original ink cartridges. Since software update July 2020 it is impossible to use other cartridges than originals. This is very annoying, just bought new ones and sent hours to find out the problem....

I reviewed your post and I understand that the printer is not accepting the non-HP ink cartridges.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I would like to inform you that you can use non-HP cartridges on the printer, however, the ink levels will not show in the printer software.
Also, I see that your printer is not affected by the dynamic security updates which were released by HP. Refer to the below article for more information.
