Product: HP Deskjet 1112
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been given a friend's printer. When I print only spots of blue appear. Before buying new ink cartridges, I want to know if the print heads are not stucked, un repairable. If I buy new ink cartridges I will not get refunded if this doesn't work. How do I verify?

Does this even happen on copies?
