Hi
I live in a region where I am supplied HP106A Cartridges for my HP107W Printer.
I understand there is a method to change regions?
Regards

Hi @Tameer_,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand you want to change the region on the printer so that the printer can work with the current region.
Please let me know from which region you have moved and in which region you are located.
To perform a printer region reset, you need to meet the following conditions:
1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.
2. You need to have the printer's full feature software installed on your computer.
3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally, or the new region/country to which you want to reset it.
4. Make sure the HP Smart App is installed too.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi Vikram
I believe the printer originally uses HP 107A, I am not sure what native region that is from, I bought the printer from malawi.
I have now purchased a HP106A Cartridge which is available here in South Africa
I meet all those requirements for the region reset

Hi @Tameer_,
Thank you for letting me know. Please share the image of the ink cartridges facing upward, showing the ink cartridge details.
In the meantime, please try the steps shared below.
The ink cartridge might be clogged, Please follow the steps below to clean the Ink cartridge once
Gather the following materials:
> A clean, lint-free cloth or a clean, dry cotton swab, Distilled or bottled water
> Gently press down on the Ink Door button to release the Ink Door, and then lift the Ink Door into the open position.
> Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
> Lift up the printhead latch to release it, and then move the ink cartridge back and up to remove it.
> Hold the ink cartridge by its sides.
> Lightly dampen a clean, lint-free cloth or swab with bottled or distilled water.
> Clean the face and edges around the ink nozzle with a cloth or swab.
> Wait for the cleaned area to dry before you continue (approximately 10 minutes).
> With the nozzles toward the printer, insert the ink cartridge into its slot, and then squeeze to lock the printhead latch into place.
> Repeat these steps to clean around the nozzles on the other ink cartridge.
> Lower the Ink Door, and then press gently to close it
once done. Keep me posted!
