HP 202a toner H{ says 1400 pages, M254dw says 1100 pages?

Just got new real OEM HP 202A BLACK toner in box with hologram seal.. Put it in my M254dw and printed a supplies page and it says 1100. HP site says 1400 pages

I love this printer, though - BEAUTIFUL printing!!!!!!!!!

That's all so true,

This is why this character " > " is also displayed in front of the 1100.

Since this printer is fully updated I would [resume that is what HP wants it to say.

Odd that HP site says 1400.

Please read this information here.

The toner still has an estimated >1100 + 223 = 1323 pages.

But when the printed pages reach approx. 350, the "Pages remaining, estimated" figure runs down. In other words, printed pages + estimated pages equals 1400 (+- X pages).

Print the status suplies status page and upload here.

I read the article but have no idea where you got the number "223".
